Well I just finished my six month internship, and Monday classes start. So for all intents and purposes Im considering this weekend my summer, and Im marking it here with what I consider to be one of the best summer anthems of all time. The strange yet compassionate yet fist pumping song has everything you want from a summer anthem, spoken word poetry, and a great jam underneath the spoken word poetry (think The Gift by the Velvet Underground) all of which is delivered with a Scottish accent. The song culminates into one of the catchiest drunken sing alongs Ive heard a long while, and its nice that I can enjoy this first (and only) big weekend.
