Well, we're now on the second half of the First Round! It's certainly refreshing to get out of the first round this soon (it took over a month last year). Last week's voting had some interesting results and an unfortunate announcement: Casey is not able to vote :(. However, I have brought someone else into the fold to begin voting right away. Meet Bryce!
Bryce: I’m a pre-junior BS/MS electrical engineering major, with minors in music and entertainment engineering. I come from a very musical family, and I’ve been playing piano for 16 years and saxophone for 12. At Drexel, I play saxophone in the jazz orchestra, concert band, pep band, and jazztet, and keyboards in the fusion band. I’m also a member of a free improvisation group called Space Whale Orchestra (check us out on Facebook). I also play a bit of guitar and flute. Hardcore, metal, indie rock, jazz, and funk make up the meat and potatoes of what I listen to. From time to time I’ll sprinkle in some classic rock, synth-y pop, or classical.
Welcome, Bryce! Other than that, it's business as usual here at Summer Psychosis 2. The preview for each upcoming matchup (and there are some tough ones) is below. Results will be posted on Friday!
Thanks,
John
