1.Arthur Theme Song (What a Wonderful Kind of Day)-Ziggy Marley from the show Arthur
This theme fits perfectly with the song, capturing the nativity and free spiritedness of childhood memories. The great thing about this type of song (and show, in my humble opinion) is that its not just for the kids. The theme song written by the legendary Ziggy Marley is a great piece of reggae with a catchy tune and a great message.
2. Suicide is Painless-Johnney Mandal and Mike Alteman from the show M*A*S*H
This wonderfully melon collie fits the attitude of the show perfectly. While the show is often remembered for its comical antics and its intellectual satire, there were times when episodes would get real and dramatic. It was during these dramatic times that the theme song really hit home, especially because it was played during the beginning and end of every episode
3. The Ballad of Gilligan's Island-Sherwood Shwartz and George Wyle from Gilligan's Island
Nothing is greater than a three hour tour, and if it involves watching three hours of Gilligan’s Island than it sounds like you’re in for a great time. After several hours of episodes, after all the hours of the same jokes and the taste of coconuts have gotten on your last nerve, the theme song will still sound original each time and will keep you coming back for more each time.
