Track of the Moment- Son of a Gun by The Vaselines

The Vaselines are a Scottish band that garnered some popularity during the late eighties and early ninties, mostly because of Kurt Cobains love of them and his coverage of many of there songs. Of all the songs that Kobain covered by them, and there are a number of them, the one that I never thought he got right was Son of a Gun, I always preferred the original much better than his cover off of Incesticide. Anyway give it a listen here. The track uses some electronic sounds that really reminds me of Trish Keenan of Broadcast and Claire Boucher of Grimes almost twenty years before them. Of course this is a live version without any electronics buy you get the idea (for some reason I couldnt find the studio cut).
