Two Thousand and Ten Injuries isn’t exactly your average
album out of Sweden. Of course that’s an assumption, considering I don’t know
very much about Sweden and the albums that come out of it. I can’t imagine
though that they are all as good as this one by Love is All. Love is All has been around for a while now,
but they still have all the rawness and originality of noise pop. The thing
that catches me off guard about this album is how it doesn’t rely on pure abrasiveness
and how loud it manages to be despite that. The band manages to be poppy
without sounding poppy. My particular favorite from the album is Bigger Bolder,
the opening track. Where several albums of this nature start strong and end
weak Two Thousand and Ten Injuries isn’t one of them, so if you think Bigger
Bolder is the only song you think you will like from the album, you are wrong.
