Since the White Stripes officially broke up (last year), ive been listening a lot to some of Jack White’s other projects, mainly the two Dead Weather albums. A personal favorite from their first album, 60 Feet Tall is a wonderful blues influenced alt-rock song. It’s the opener from Whorehound, and it definitely kicks ass. Reminiscent of The White Stripes’ Ball and Biscuit, the main riff is like the stomping of an elephant (PUN! The album Ball and Biscuit is from is called elephant) Anyway have a listen.
