WU LYF is a mysterious band. Their name according to their website stands for World Unite Lucifer Youth Foundation is a strange one to say the least, and its not the only aspect of the website that confuses. For one, video of some runners plays perpetually in the background. You can also join the foundation if you feel so inclined. On top of that the music confuses too, WU LYF is perhaps the only band with Lucifer in their name that has church organs on almost every song. What’s more the lyrics and aesthetic are often bittersweet and difficult to determine what the songs are actually trying to convey, but really in a good way. Example; We Bros,( where the chorus is simply the title of the song repeated, and the only discernable lyric in the song) which perfectly sums up the highs and lows of caring for someone with only two words.
